Park your car safely
There are big, threatening clouds and your car is parked outside because you do not have a garage. Then it starts to hail heavily, and everyone hopes the car will survive this storm. However, you can watch the spectacle with peace of mind as your car is completely protected from hail damages by the hail protection cover.
Fully padded for optimal hail protection
The hail protection cover is completely upholstered with a 4 mm thick neoprene foam layer. This absorbs the impact of the hail very well, whereby the hood, the roof and the boot are well protected against hailstorm. In total the cover has a thickness of about 5 mm. The product is water-repellent and has a fleece on the inside that is gentle on the paintwork. There are four reflectors on the outside and the ultra-orange tapes add visibility. In addition, there are two ventilation openings to ensure good ventilation.
Easy installation
The cover is manufactured in five different sizes and is relatively easy to install with elastic seams. Attach the hail protection cover with the sewn-in arrow to the front on the bottom of the car with the attached snap fasteners. Mount the hail protection cover only on parked vehicles in non-public traffic areas and remove it immediately after the storm is over. Please note that condensation and moisture can form under the cover if it rains heavily for a long time and the air is very damp or the ground very wet. Condensation can also form under the cover when temperatures fluctuate strongly. This happens regardless of whether the cover is waterproof or not. It is therefore all the more important to regularly remove the protector cover from the car and ventilate and dry it.

- How is the hail protection cover attached?
Attach the cover to the underside of the car with the sewn-in arrow pointing forwards, using the snap fasteners and firmly pull the straps. - Why should the hail protection cover be removed after a thunderstorm?
If the cover remains on the vehicle for a prolonged period of time, moisture can form underneath, which can significantly reduce the lifetime of the cover. We recommend removing the cover after the thunderstorm has passed and drying it thoroughly before using it again.
Please note: Our hail protection covers are not UV-resistant. Direct UV radiation damages the cover and reduces the lifetime of the cover. Therefore, please remove it after use and do not leave it on the vehicle permanently!

Leider mit Transportschäden angekommen. Kiste und Inhalt durchnässt und verschmutzt. Eine riesige Plane die für den Urlaub gedacht war, aber aufgrund der Größe keinen Platz fand. Wahrscheinlich alleine am Auto zu befestigen unmöglich .

Praktisch, funktional, mit leichtem Verbesserungsbedarf was die Spanngurte anbelangt und das Handling insgesamt
Sehr wertige Verarbeitung der Plane an sich, leider immer die kleine Schwachstelle der an-/eingenähten Spanngurte (die reißen halt dann doch 'mal u.U. ganz schnell ein). Super sind die Luftungsöffnungen/-klappen rechts und links sowie die Reflektoren. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass die Plane an sehr heißen Tagen auch ein wenig die Hitze aus dem Innenraum reduzieren kann und auch die Reifen vor der Sonnenhitze z.T. schützt. Das Überstülpen ist für eine alleinstehende Person vor allem bei leichtem Wind von der Gegenseite jedesmal eine kleine Herausforderung, die bislang aber gut gemeistert werden konnte. Die Größe der Plane ist gerade passend, einziger Wermutstropfen ist bei diesem Automodell die Abstände der Vorder- und Hinterräder. Hier sind die angenähten Spanngurte ein wenig zu weit hinten bzw. vorne. Die mitgelieferten Spanngurte lassen sich bei diesem Automodell leider nur vorne und mittig anbringen. Das Handling der Spanngurte ist schwierig, da diese kaum unter dem Auto durch zubekommen sind ohne dass man sich ziemlich verrenken muss. Vielleicht ließe sich hier eine bessere Lösung finden. Jedoch der Vorteil der Spanngurte: windbedingte Flatterbewegungen werden ziemlich minimiert. Das Abnehmen der Plane geht trocken ziemlich gut, bei Nässe ist die Plane leider schwerer. Für das Zusammenlegen, vor allem bei Nässe, muss sich wohl jede/r eine eigene Technik entwickeln. Es empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall mit einem kleinen Handbesen Staub, Blätter etc. von der Oberseite weg zu fegen/kehren. Eine Anregung meinerseits wäre auch, über das Einnähen von breiten Halteschlaufen vorne/hinten/seitlich o.ä. nachzudenken, die das Überstülpen bzw. Abnehmen der Plane vom Handling her leichter und praktikabler gestalten könnte.
